MODEL 3306A1
CRYOGENIC ACCELEROMETER
The Dytran model 3306A1 is an IEPE accelerometer with continuous operation to–320°F (–196°C), expressly designed to support cryogenic vibration testing requirements.
Offered with a 5 mV/g sensitivity, the design of model 3306A1 incorporates a two–pole low pass filter, which aids in eliminating spurious high frequency data, and a rugged stainless steel construction, along with a 1/4–28 integral mounting stud and an axial mounted, military style 3–pin Bayonet connector. Even at extreme temperatures, the model 3306A1 displays an extremely stable and continuous signal output. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. The accelerometer is also electrically isolated via use of an internal Faraday shield for noise immunity.

3306A1 was specifically designed as a cryogenic (–320°F) low profile hermetically sealed stud mount 5 mV/g single axis accelerometer with a 3–pin military Bayonet–style axial connector. Designed as a product variation of Model 3045A in the housing of the Model 3062A, this model was designed to operate in extreme temperatures with stable and continuous signal output expressly for supporting cryogenic vibration test requirements of pump vibrations and rocket engine test stands. Featuring a electrically isolated inner unit with Faraday shield and electrically insulated from the rugged outer case, this sensor eliminates ground loops. The 3306A1 has a sensing range of 1,000g.
