3192A was specifically designed as an industrial top–mounted 2–Pin military connector 1,000 mV/g single axis accelerometer to permanently monitor machinery vibration. Featuring an electrically isolated inner unit with Faraday shield and electrically insulated from the rugged outer case, this sensor eliminates ground loops from electrostatic noise generated by the machine under test while also protecting against electro–static discharge (ESD) by internal protective circuitry. Furthermore, this unit is impervious to moisture, steam, grease, oil, and other contaminants when used with an immersion proof boot. The 3192A has a sensing range of 5g and ultra low noise of 0.000036 grams.
