The Dytran model 2013D is an IEPE µphone with an ultra high sensitivity of 2,000 mV/psi, designed to measure high intensity sound pressure levels of up to 179 dB, while reliably operating in temperatures up to +250°F (+149°C).
Design of the model 2013D utilizes a piezoceramic crystal sensing element operating in compression mode to generate an output signal in response to sound pressure acting on the 0.62 inch (15.7 millimeter) diameter diaphragm. The sensor features a lightweight titanium housing, 10–32 axial connector and hollow clamp nut for mounting. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
