- The Dytran model 3196C is a high temperature charge mode accelerometer, designed to reliably operate in temperatures up to +500°F (+260°C). Featuring a nominal sensitivity of–8 pC/g, hermetic sealing, and a rugged stainless steel construction, the model 3196C is expressly designed for use in extreme environments. Units are offered with an industry standard tri–bolt mount and radial TNC connector.
- 3196C was specifically designed as a high temperature tri–bolt mounted–8.0 pC/g single axis charge mode accelerometer with supplied 8–32 mounting screws and radial TNC connector. The 3196C design allows for continuous operation at +500 °F exhibiting less than 9% increase in sensitivity from room temperature up to +500 °F with an ultra stable piezoceramic crystal. The 3196C with its hermetically sealed stainless steel construction, this instrument precludes loss of insulation resistance which can result in loss of low frequency response and instability of operation in the presence of moisture and other contaminants and furthermore has provision for an immersion proof boot to protect the cable connection to sensor. The 3196C has a sensing range of 500g.
