Envision X84 supports validation across the full data range of C-PHY and D-PHY (80Msps – 2.5Gbps) C-PHY supports up to 3.5 GigaSymbols per second or approximately 3.16 bits per sample. 2.5Gbps x3.16 =7.9Gbps per lane. The Envision X84 supports up to 3 lanes of C-PHY with true clock recovery from the trios. It supports up to 4 lanes of D-PHY and has a GPIO Interface for direct control of Camera and Displays.

The Teledyne LeCroy Envision Protocol Suite application is a robust software interface that allows for image decoding and comparison. It allows users to validate all payload formats. It supports multiple trigger options to isolate difficult bugs. Multiple views of the PHY and Protocol layer events help identify connectivity issues. The Envision X84 protocol suite software also supports multiple validation tools, such as Protocol Level Conformance Test Scripts (CTS), PRBS Mode and Reverse Low Power modes. The Envision X84 and Envision Protocol suite also support a full Automation API.
