PRO SERIES PEN-VAC™ VACUUM PEN

Description

PEN-VAC™ PRO SERIES, ESD Safe, 5″ light weight gray plastic body with five bent probes mounted with Buna-N Static Dissipative Non-Marking Vacuum Cup sizes 1/8″ (3.18mm), 3/16″ (4.76mm), 1/4″ (6.35mm), 3/8″ (9.53mm), 1/2″ (12.7mm) diameter. Three straight probes mounted with Buna-N Static Dissipative Non-Marking Vacuum Cup sizes 1/4″ (6.35mm), 3/8″ (9.53mm), 1/2″ (12.7mm) diameter. Includes Vacuum Pen holder with eight locations for holding your probes and cups. These vacuum pens are ideal for SMT assembly or for handling any parts that have a non-porous surface. No batteries or hoses to get in your way. The PEN-VAC™ is totally self-contained.

Operation is as follows:
1. Select a tip with a rubber vacuum cup on a probe that is slightly smaller than the part you want to pick and place. Put the probe snuggly on the tip of the vacuum pen. Make sure that there is no dust on the rubber vacuum tip. NOTE: Our larger rubber vacuum cups can be placed directly on the VACUUM PEN™ tip without using a probe.
2. Depress AND hold the button on the side of the tool.
3. Touch the vacuum tip squarely to the part and release the button. The part is now grasped.
4. Move the part to where you want it and depress the button again. The part is now released.
NOTE: This tool works only with the rubber vacuum tips. The rubber is required for an air-tight seal.
