- The Dytran series 1053 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces of 5,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with a sensitivity range from 1–500 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure from 10–200 lbf full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the series 1053V features built–in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
- Design of the series 1053 features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and package in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 28 grams. Units utilize a 10–32 radial connector and 10–32 tapped holes located at both the top and bottom of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.
