Description
Flammability Test Rig (Upholstery) is to determine the ignition resistance properties of material combinations for upholstered seating. When it is placed under a smoldering cigarette or a burning fire source, its heat output ranges from a burning match to nearly burning four double sheets of full-size paper.
The test rigs are covered with the standard foam and the fabric under test. The assembly is then ignited using one of the standard ignition sources and the combustion process is monitored. The monitoring of the combustion process can help us discover the potential flammability of the tested material
Optional accessories include foam pads, wooden cribs, cutting templates, and standard cigarettes.
