Description

Taber Abrasion Tester is a testing instrument to test the wear resistance of all kinds of structures including fabrics, leather, and rubber, paper, metals, paints, plated surfaces, coated materials, glass, etc.

Taber Abrasion Tester is mainly used the way of rotary grinding, using the different types of friction wheels to rotate the specimen, and then it can detect the result of leather or other materials. Taber Abraser tests the specimen by rotating and applying the required pressure when in contact with the grinding wheel.

Taber Abraser uses the X pattern of abrasion produced by the rotary action of a pair of abrasive wheels. It supplies with a full range of auxiliary weights, specimen holders. The abrasive wheels and wheel refacer are offered on request

Tips for getting more repeatability of this taber abrasion machine:

1. Refacing the wheels before the test.
2. Adjust the height of the vacuum pick-up nozzles each time when you change the specimen of sandpaper.
3. Check the surface of the wheels after a long period of testing.
