- Engineered specifically for applications using demineralized or deionized water, the HI983304 measures very low conductivity. Hanging the meter above the output of any demineralization system for continuous test measurements. The unit runs without interruption on 12V DC power supply. The built-in visual alarm will activate when any measured value differs from the set point by 1.00 µS/cm, indicating the demineralizing equipment has been exhausted. This exclusive feature will ensure maximum system efficiency with minimum investment. The splash-resistant meter housing has an IP54 rating and features a large, integrated LCD screen that can be easily read from a distance.
- The meter is supplied with a HI7631 two-pole, amperometric EC probe for panel mounted mini controllers that measures with accuracy up to 19.00 µS/cm. This probe has a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation (ATC) and has a ½” male NPT threaded connection for insertion mounting. The polyethylenimine (PEI) protective sleeve resists most aggressive chemicals. The HI7631 probe provides a rapid response and high accuracy EC measurement. When using the HI983304 in pure water applications, there is no need to clean or calibrate the EC probe.
